Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 13, 2026
This policy explains how Teable AI, Inc. ("Teable," "we," "us") uses cookies and similar technologies, such as local storage, session storage, and tracking tags, on our website teable.ai. It complements our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information more generally. The Teable application at app.teable.ai is covered by the Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Local storage and session storage are similar browser features that keep information on your device; session storage is cleared when you close the tab. "First-party" items are stored under a teable.ai domain, even when a provider's script writes them on our behalf. "Third-party" items are stored under another company's domain, such as google.com or youtube.com.
2. Your choice
EU/EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland. When you visit from these regions, or when we cannot tell where you are visiting from, we ask for your consent before using analytics and advertising cookies. Until you choose "Accept all," and after you choose "Reject all":
- PostHog runs in cookieless mode. It stores nothing on your device and reads no identifier from it. To count visits, PostHog derives an identifier on its servers from a hash of technical request data, such as your IP address and browser user agent, combined with a value that changes every day, so visits cannot be linked across days.
- Google tags run in Google Consent Mode with analytics and advertising storage denied. They set no Google Analytics or Google Ads cookies, but may send Google cookieless signals, such as the page viewed and whether an ad click led to a conversion, which Google uses for aggregate, modelled measurement.
- The Meta Pixel script loads with consent revoked: it sets no cookies and reports no page views or other events to Meta.
- Page interactions are never replayed.
Other regions. Elsewhere, analytics and advertising technologies are active by default. You can turn them off at any time with "Reject all."
Changing your choice. Choose here or at the bottom of any page to reopen the cookie banner, then pick "Accept all" or "Reject all." Your new choice applies immediately. When you reject, we also delete the Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Meta identifiers already stored under teable.ai, and PostHog deletes its own. Third-party cookies stored under other companies' domains can be removed in your browser settings. Your choice is kept for 12 months, after which we ask again.
Each time you make or change a choice, we record the choice, the banner version, and your consent region as an analytics event, so we can demonstrate the consent we hold. If you reject, this record is itself made in cookieless mode.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the website from working as intended.
3. Strictly necessary
These are needed to run the website and to remember your choices. They do not require consent and are always active.
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider / recipient | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| teable_consent | Stores your cookie choice (analytics and advertising granted or denied) so we do not ask again. Shared with app.teable.ai so the Teable app respects the same choice. | 12 months | Teable (.teable.ai) | First-party |
| teable_consent_region | Records whether your visit comes from a region where we ask for consent before using cookies (EU/EEA, UK, Switzerland). Derived from the country of your IP address; the address itself is not stored. | 24 hours | Teable | First-party |
| NEXT_LOCALE | Remembers the website language you picked with the language switcher. | 12 months | Teable | First-party |
| __ph_opt_in_out_<project key> (local storage) | Remembers whether PostHog analytics may use cookies on this device, so your choice is applied before any page view is sent. | Until you clear site data | Teable, via the PostHog SDK | First-party |
4. Analytics
These help us understand how visitors find and use our website so we can improve it. In the regions listed above they are only stored with your consent; PostHog's cookieless mode and Google Consent Mode, described in section 2, apply otherwise.
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider / recipient | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ph_<project key>_posthog | PostHog analytics: a random anonymous ID and session state, so we can count returning visitors and understand how people use the website. Also stored in local storage. Shared with app.teable.ai so a visit can be connected to the account you later create. | 12 months | PostHog, Inc. (USA), on our behalf | First-party |
| ph_<project key>_posthog, ph_<project key>_window_id, ph_<project key>_primary_window_exists (session storage) | PostHog session and browser-tab state. | Until you close the tab | PostHog, Inc. (USA), on our behalf | First-party |
| teable_ad_replay (session storage) | Marks a visit that arrived from one of our ads, so PostHog may replay that visit's page interactions (with text inputs masked) to understand why ad visitors stay or leave. | Until you close the tab | Teable, via PostHog | First-party |
| _ga, _ga_<container ID> | Google Analytics: a random client ID and session state used to measure visits and traffic sources. | Up to 2 years | Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd. | First-party |
| teable_internal_link_journey (session storage) | Remembers which link on our website you just followed (link ID and page paths only, no identifier), so the visit to the next page can be credited to that link. | 30 minutes, cleared when you close the tab | Teable | First-party |
We also use Vercel Web Analytics, our hosting provider's privacy-friendly page-view counter. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device; requests go to teable.ai/_vercel/insights.
5. Advertising
These measure how well our advertising works and help advertising platforms show our ads to relevant audiences. Information these tags collect, such as browser identifiers, ad click IDs, and the pages you visit, is received by the advertising platform, which may combine it with information it already holds about you, subject to your choices and its own policies. In the regions listed above, the Google and Meta items below are only stored or read with your consent. The Teable attribution cookies are only set when you follow a campaign or referral link.
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider / recipient | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| _gcl_au, _gcl_aw, _gcl_* and _gcl_ls (local storage) | Google Ads conversion linker: connects a sign-up or purchase to the Google ad click that led to it, and stores the ad click ID (gclid). | 90 days | Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd. | First-party |
| test_cookie, GCL_AW_P and other cookies on doubleclick.net, google.com and googleadservices.com | Set by Google's own domains when its advertising tag loads: checks whether cookies are enabled, and measures ad clicks and conversions. | 15 minutes to 90 days | Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd. | Third-party |
| _fbp, _fbc; lastExternalReferrer, lastExternalReferrerTime, multiFbc (local storage) | Meta Pixel: a browser ID and, when you arrive from a Meta ad, the ad click ID (fbclid), used to measure and optimize Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns. | 90 days (local storage until cleared) | Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. / Meta Platforms, Inc. | First-party |
| teable_attribution | Set by our server only when you arrive through a link carrying campaign parameters (utm_*, gclid, gbraid, wbraid, fbclid, oppref, ref). Keeps the first such campaign so that, if you sign up for Teable, the sign-up can be credited to it. | 90 days | Teable (.teable.ai) | First-party |
| teable_affiliate_via | Set by our server only when you arrive through a partner's referral link (?via=). Keeps the referral code so the partner can be credited if you subscribe. | 60 days | Teable (.teable.ai) | First-party |
For ChatGPT Ads (OpenAI), we measure conversions from our servers. No OpenAI script runs and no OpenAI cookie is set on this website.
6. Embedded content
Some pages embed content hosted by others. The provider of that content sets its own cookies when the content loads, under its own policies.
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider / recipient | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| YSC, VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE, VISITOR_PRIVACY_METADATA, __Secure-YNID, __Secure-ROLLOUT_TOKEN | Set by YouTube when a page shows an embedded YouTube video (some blog posts, and the home page video after you press play): video playback, preferences, and YouTube's own measurement. | Session to 180 days | Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd. (YouTube) | Third-party |
| teable-prod-socket, and the Teable app's analytics cookies (_ga_<container ID>, Microsoft Clarity _clck, _clsk, CLID, MUID) | Set by the Teable app (app.teable.ai) when a template page shows a live preview of the template: load balancing for the preview connection, and the app's own usage analytics. | Session to 13 months | Teable; Google; Microsoft | Third-party |
7. Providers and international transfers
The providers above may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. To learn more about how they use information, see the privacy policies of PostHog, Google, Meta, Microsoft, and Vercel.
8. Changes and contact
We update this policy when the technologies we use change. If a change requires new consent, we will ask for it again.
For questions about this policy, contact Teable AI, Inc. at support@teable.ai.
