Zakrly brings the work behind an Arabic education business together in Teable, connecting teaching materials, student administration, and AI-built apps beyond Google Sheets.
Zakrly is an Arabic language learning platform offering courses and interactive learning materials for students in Egypt. Its public catalog spans foundational grammar and school-year curricula, giving learners a place to find the resources that match their stage of study.
Behind the platform is Karim Shindy, an independent educator who creates the courses, interactive books, and quizzes while running the business himself. Teable gives him an organized home for the operational work around that teaching, from enrollment and progress tracking to content management.

Before Teable, Karim had grown a single course to roughly 1,000 students. But running the operation alone meant handling administration as well as teaching, and he says the manual work had become more than he could manage. His Google Sheets setup was no longer giving him a clear way to organize the work.
The difficulties were practical. He struggled to separate and navigate student information, enrollment, quizzes, and video resources. Keeping images and invoices alongside the information they belonged to was awkward in his Sheets workflow. Moving between the spreadsheet and other tools added to the coordination he was doing himself.
In his previous setup, keeping those materials organized across sheets and separate tools had become difficult. What first drew him to Teable was the sidebar: he could group different areas of his work and move between them without losing his place. Files could sit directly inside records, alongside the information that made them useful.
Teable gave those different parts of the business a clear home: sidebar folders for student administration, enrollment, quizzes, and video resources. Invoices and thumbnails could sit inside their relevant records, with links to videos and interactive books alongside them. Karim describes less jumping between tools, with the materials and context he needed organized in one workspace.
Teable is now the absolute central brain of my Arabic language educational platform.

- Karim Shindy, Creator of Zakrly
Teable brings three core areas of Karim's teaching business together: enrollment, progress tracking, and content management. It also supports his internal productivity apps. The database holds lightweight assets such as thumbnails and invoices, as well as links to video and interactive learning resources hosted elsewhere. That keeps the information organized while specialist services handle streaming and content delivery.
The same approach extends to course marketing. Karim prepares and organizes promotional content in Teable, then uses a separate publishing tool to distribute it. Teable provides the place to coordinate the materials without requiring every part of the business to move into a single product.
With his records and resources organized, Karim uses AI to build the tools around them. He uses Teable's AI App Builder to create internal productivity apps and to design and update student portal interfaces as his ideas develop. He can work on the experience students see as well as the tools he uses behind the scenes. Across his Teable workspace, Karim has created more than 15 apps, giving him room to shape different tools around the way he works.
Across Karim's workspace, automations ran successfully more than 700 times in the 30 days from September 5 to October 4, 2026. Together with his apps and connected data, they give a solo educator a way to organize information, build useful interfaces, and support repeatable work in the same environment.
For Karim, the cost of a fragmented setup was attention pulled away from creating courses, interactive materials, and quizzes. As the business grew, the manual coordination around teaching had become more than one person could comfortably handle.
Teable addresses that burden at several levels: folders make the work easier to navigate, records keep supporting files and links in context, and AI-built apps and automations provide tools for acting on that information. Moving beyond Google Sheets has given Karim a way to organize and adapt the operation around his teaching, with less switching between disconnected tools.
As Karim puts it: “Now, Teable acts as my entire virtual team.”
