Beta tester feedback
Feedback triage for teams running a beta program. Invited testers report bugs from a beta portal, every report carries its build, the AI tags its theme and urgency, and the product team gets a summary every Monday.
The outcome
Every beta report is tagged with its build and urgency, and the product team gets a summary every week.

About this template
In Jocky's words.
What's inside
- Feedback: every report with its build, tester, device, screenshot, theme, urgency, and status (New, Triaging, Planned, Logged, Fixed, Closed)
- Builds: each version with its release date, what's new, a test list, and its report and urgent counts
- Testers: the invite list; only these emails can sign in to the beta portal
- Test checks: which tester ticked which task on which build
- Theme and urgency (AI): tags each report with a theme and Urgent, High, Medium, or Low, says why in one sentence, and writes a short title
- Urgent alert (automation): posts an urgent report, with its build, to Slack or emails the team
- Reply to tester (automation): emails your reply to the tester with a link back to the conversation
- Weekly summary (automation): Monday mornings, last week's reports by build, the urgent count, top themes, and how many testers finished the test list
- Beta portal (app): invited testers see the current build's test list, tick what they tried, report bugs, and read your replies
- Beta dashboard (app): your team's inbox, themes week by week, builds, testers, and settings
Get started
- Add your current build. Version, what's new, and a test list.
- Invite your testers. Only their emails can sign in.
- Share the beta portal. Publish it and send testers the link.
Playbook. The first thing in the project walks you through every step and ticks them off as you go. Delete it once you're done.
Sign-in. Testers sign in to Beta portal with a one-time code sent to their email, and only emails on Testers get in; anyone else sees "This beta is invite-only." A tester only ever sees their own reports, never the AI's tags. Your team signs in to Beta dashboard with a code too and gets in once someone with the Product role gives them a role (Support or Product). You sign in with Teable.
Slack is optional. Paste a Slack Incoming Webhook link into Product and urgent reports post there; without it they go to the team email.
Comes with sample data for a made-up app, Fieldnote, in beta. Every sample email is on example.com, so nothing reaches a real person until you add your own.
1 click. 1 sentence. Yours.
-
Click Use template on this page. Its 8 tables, 3 automations, and 3 apps open in your Teable already working, with sample records. Nothing to install, nothing to set up.
-
Tell Teable AI what's different, the way you'd say it: “Add app store reviews and send bugs to Linear.” It changes the fields, steps, and screens to match.
-
Its 3 automations run on their own. You just run the business.
