About this template
In Jocky's words.
What's inside
- Machines: floor, model, photo, service interval, and status (OK, Reported, or Out of order)
- Jobs: every breakdown and service, from staff or a member's QR scan, until it runs again
- Repair summary (AI): turns a technician's notes, parts, and hours into a short summary
- Service due reminder (automation): opens a service job when a machine is due and emails its technician
- New job alert (automation): emails the machine's technician and the front desk about a breakdown
- Back in service (automation): tells the member who reported it, and the front desk, that the machine runs again
- Technician app (app): report and fix problems, print every machine's QR code and an Out of order sign
- Machine QR page (app, no sign-in): members say what's wrong and see when it's back
Get started
- Add your machines. With service intervals and a technician.
- Print the QR codes. One on each machine.
- Invite your technicians. They log repairs from the app.
Playbook. The first thing in the project walks you through every step and ticks them off as you go. Delete it once you're done.
Sign-in. Your team signs in with a one-time code sent to their email; the app opens once a manager gives them a role (Front desk, Technician, or Manager). You sign in with Teable. Members never sign in: each machine's QR page opens without it and shows only the machine, its floor, and whether it's out of order.
Comes with sample data for a made-up gym, Iron & Oak. Every sample email is on example.com, so nothing reaches a real person until you add your own.

-
Click Use template on this page. Its 4 tables, 3 automations, and 2 apps open in your Teable already working, with sample records. Nothing to install, nothing to set up.
-
Tell Teable AI what's different, the way you'd say it: “Track spare parts and downtime hours per machine.” It changes the fields, steps, and screens to match.
-
Its 3 automations run on their own. You just run the business.
