Event planning
Product launch plan for people who run events. Every event task has an owner, a vendor and a budget line, the checkpoints count back from the event date, and in the final week the team gets the day's tasks every morning.
The outcome
Every event task has a vendor and a budget line, and owners get daily reminders in the final week.

About this template
In Jocky's words.
What's inside
- Tasks: owner, vendor, budget and actual cost, due date, and status
- Vendors: who you pay, what they do, the contact, and their email
- Risk check (AI): flags a late task and the checkpoint it blocks
- Daily reminder (automation): in the final week, every morning at 9, the day's tasks go to your Slack channel, or by email to each owner until Slack is connected
- Checkpoints: venue booked, vendors confirmed, final week, walkthrough, and event day, dated back from the event
- Event plan (app): my tasks with Mark done, all tasks, checkpoints, budget vs actual per workstream, and the Go/No-go call at the walkthrough
Get started
- Set your event date. Checkpoints move with it.
- Add your vendors and budget. A vendor and budget line on each task.
- Invite your team. They sign in with an email code.
Connect after you install. Optional: grant Slack as SLACK to the Daily reminder and put your channel in Event. Without it, reminders go by email.
Playbook. The first thing in the project walks you through every step, including connecting Slack, and ticks them off as you go. Delete it once you're done.
Sign-in. Your team signs in with Teable or a one-time code sent to their email.
Comes with sample data for a made-up town fair, Riverfront Fair. Every sample email is on example.com, and nothing is connected until you connect your own accounts.
1 click. 1 sentence. Yours.
-
Click Use template on this page. Its 6 tables, 1 automation, and 2 apps open in your Teable already working, with sample records. Nothing to install, nothing to set up.
-
Tell Teable AI what's different, the way you'd say it: “Add a sponsors workstream and a thank-you email after the event.” It changes the fields, steps, and screens to match.
-
Its automation runs on its own. You just run the business.
